This year marks the 30th anniversary of "Clear and Fragrant," a non-profit organization established by Ven. Beopjeong in 1994 with the practical tenets of "making mind, world, and nature clear and fragrant." To commemorate this, 『Find Your True Self』 compiles the lectures Ven. Beopjeong delivered across various cities in Korea, including Busan, Chuncheon, Daegu, Changwon, Gwangju, and Cheongdo, from the late 1970s to the early 2000s. The significance of this book is even greater because all the lecture contents have remained unpublished until now.

While Ven. Beopjeong's "writing flavor" is well-known, his "speaking flavor" has been somewhat underevaluated. However, transcribing his lectures verbatim transforms them into excellent pieces of writing. They are rich in lessons, humor, comfort, and encouragement. As one reads the book, one can almost hear Ven. Beopjeong's vivid voice, sometimes soft, sometimes impassioned. Furthermore, the content of these lectures, delivered 20-30 years ago, feels incredibly relevant today, offering profound wisdom and solace to those of us living in the present era. Perhaps they will resonate even more deeply with us now, as we increasingly lose our true selves and become more homogenized.
