This book is a guide designed for those who found the Bible difficult, allowing them to read the Word easily and enjoyably by following the historical flow. In the midst of busy daily life, you will experience the感動 (deep emotion) of God's words, which were disconnected due to self-centered living, being connected as one story, and complex laws and events leading to the one and only Jesus Christ.
However, you should never just read this book. True life is only in the Bible. While reading this book, please open the Bible. In it, you will hear the voice of God speaking directly to us.

Mattathias answered quietly.
"Even if the whole nation obeys the king's command and worships Zeus, I and my sons will not break the law of our ancestors."
At that moment, a Jew who was there to offer sacrifices trembled and stepped forward, pouring pig's blood on the altar. The air instantly froze. Fire flared in Mattathias's eyes. Filled with holy wrath, he drew a sword from his waist without a word. He first stabbed the Jew who betrayed God, and then rushed towards the Greek soldiers. Blood splattered, and the soldiers screamed, falling into chaos. The villagers stared wide-eyed, holding their breath. And Mattathias cried out,
"Let those who keep the law follow me! Let us go to the mountains for the covenant of God!"
That day, Mattathias went into the mountains with his five sons. And he became the father of the guerrilla revolutionary army. _400 Years of Intertestamental Period

Peter and the apostles began to preach again. Now, it was as if they could just press a button and sermons would come out of the apostles.
"It is right to obey God rather than men. God raised Jesus, whom you crucified on a tree, and God made Jesus the Savior for repentance and forgiveness of sins. We are witnesses of these things. So is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey Him."
The chief priests and teachers of the law were so distressed by them that they said, "Let's kill them." Just like the reaction after Stephen's sermon, a murderous rage filled their hearts. But then Gamaliel, a Pharisee teacher of the law and the future teacher of the Apostle Paul, stood up in the Sanhedrin and said,
"At one time people followed Theudas and Judas, but they all eventually scattered. Leave these men alone. If this work is from men, it will soon fall apart, and if it is from God, how can we stop it?" _Acts 1

If we are circumcised, Christ is of no benefit to us. So Paul tells those who believe in Jesus and are circumcised to keep the entire law without missing a single part! If one seeks righteousness under the law, one is cut off from Christ and falls from grace. Circumcision and uncircumcision are not important. But why do the Galatian believers try to return to the law again? They believe in Jesus, but false teachers come and shake them, making them want to boast of superiority by thoroughly keeping the law. _Galatians

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places (Ephesians 1:3).
It is so shocking. God has already given us spiritual blessings! Not "will give," but "has already given!" But we do not know this and do not know how to use it. Then can these spiritual blessings be received anywhere? No. Then where should they be received? Let's find it in this verse. It is "in Christ." Then who gives it? It is God. When did this begin? Before the foundation of the world (cf. Ephesians 1:4). _Ephesians

There is something we should fear. It is the possibility that some may not enter God's rest even though there is a promise to enter it. Even if one hears the gospel, if the hearer does not believe, they cannot enter into rest. If Joshua had given them perfect rest, God would not have said through David, "Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts." Therefore, a time of rest still remains for God's people. Those who have already entered into rest are resting, just as God rested from His work. We too must strive to enter into rest. _Hebrews
